Art & Jazz on the Avenue, Delray Beach

Downtown Delray Beach will highlight the Art & Jazz on the Avenue event, an open house for merchants and restaurants that will attract Super Bowl visitors and local residents to downtown Delray. Planned activities include a punt, pass & kick competition between boys and girls of differing age groups, a flag football scrimmage between coaches and city staff verses Delray Rocks players and general public, a dodgeball game and a 40-yard dash competition. Over 60,000+ people are expected to attend this event.

Champions Arch: Built by Gerdau Ameristeel
Friday, January 29 - Sunday, February 7, 2010
The South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee's "Champions Arch" Display, built by Gerdau Ameristeel celebrates the nine past champions crowned in South Florida, while creating a visual bridge uniting the games played at the Orange Bowl and now Dolphin Stadium. Recycled steel is also used to create nine one-of-a-kind sculptures representing past champions along with the two conference champions, one of whom will join the great champions of past South Florida Super Bowls. Gerdau Ameristeel has provided the steel and built the display which spans South Beach's famed Ocean Drive along with 11 smaller structures that will be displayed on the East Side of Ocean Drive at 11th Street.

Join us for Super Art in the Park on Friday, January 29, 2010 from 6pm to Midnight in Ponce Circle Park, right in the heart of Coral Gables.  This event is family friendly and free to the public.

Super Art in the Park is presented by the Kiwanis Club of Little Havana Arts and Music Foundation, the City of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Coral Gables.

Super Art in the Park features many activities, including live music, art, sports personalities, memorabilia, Super Bowl-themed activities for kids of all ages and so much more.

Super Saturday in the Street

The local businesses take it to the street with an extreme tailgating event in downtown Hollywood. Visitors will sample food from locaL restaurants and vote on their best tailgating experiences. Hollywood Boulevard will become a pedestrian tailgating challenge between the American Football Conference (AFC) and the National Football Conference (NFC). Tailgating packages will be raffled off. Fans are encouraged to come in their favorite NFL team gear. Several NFL cheerleading teams will be on site. Current and NFL alumni players will be available for autograph signing at various locations during the day. Event will be held 12p.m. - 6p.m. Saturday January 30, 2010 in Downtown Hollywood, between 19th Avenue and 21st Avenue. Free event open to the public.

Super Celebrity Fishing Classic
February 1 & 3, 2010
The Super Celebrity Fishing Classic is a high profile, prestigious fishing tournament designed to honor William Bleakley, Marquis Cooper, Corey Smith and Nick Schuyler. Those four men were lost at sea last February. Only Schuyler survived. The proceeds raised at this event will go to the victims' families' charity/foundation of their choice. The SCFC will target various Funfish species including Dolphin, Tuna, Kingfish and Wahoo. The event is open to all ages and will include divisions for ladies and juniors. Join us Wednesday, February 3rd starting at 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m with fishing, 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. weigh in/dock party, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. cocktail party and 6:30 - 10:00 p.m. dinner and awards ceremony. Tickets to the Kickoff Party, awards ceremony and spots in the fishing tournament are open to the public and can be purchased in advance.

Join the City of West Palm Beach for a free football celebration event in South Florida. It includes two stages of entertainment featuring Starship with Mickey Thomas performing top-40 hits: "We Built This City," "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" and "Sarah." There will be meet-and-greets with pro football players, interactive sports competitions, FANtastic contests and a 5p.m. Kickoff with marching bands, cheerleaders and more! The Tide Mile of Clean Style will stretch from 7th to 12th street on Ocean Drive and will include a runway open to everyone, numerous activities, giveaways and more!

2010 DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl

On February 6, 2010, celebrities and professional athletes will storm Miami's famed South Beach for DIRECTV's 4th Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl, the must-see special event of Super Bowl weekend. A veritable "who's who" of entertainment will face off in a no-holds-barred flag football game - going head to head in front of millions of passionate viewers. Last year, New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning and New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush coached teams made up of an exciting mix celebrities and gridiron greats, such as Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, Kevin Dillon, Maria Menounos, Penn Badgley, Christian Slater, Warren Moon, Eddie George and Steve Young.

The 2010 DIRECTV Celebrity Beach Bowl will return to Miami for the first time since its inception in 2007 when it was attended by 1,000 fans. The event has grown considerably in four short years and this year about 10,000 fans are expected to pack the sand along with VIP athletes, celebrities and musicians for one of Super Bowl weekend's hottest events. Immediately following the game and trophy presentation, the All-American Rejects will take the stage for an unforgettable performance. Don't miss the action, which airs live on DIRECTV's The 101 Network.
