The Host Committee is proud to say that it now has over 1,000 fans on Facebook thanks to the enormous support we have received from football fans all over. It seems like the numbers on our social networking sites continue to grow each and every day. Whether its followers on Twitter, fans on Facebook or visitors on this blog, the numbers keep going up the charts when it comes to social media for us.

Our next social networking goals include getting to 1,500 followers on Facebook and 500 followers on Twitter. It's only mid-July and people have begun to talk about football and Super Bowl XLIV already. Now you can stay in touch with football and its path to the world class game that is the Super Bowl, which will be played on February 7th, 2010, by following us. And don't forget, Pro Bowl 2010 will be played here in South Florida - We'll keep you informed on that too as January 31st, 2010 nears.

The mission of the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee is to prepare the South Florida region to host Super Bowl XLIV, the Record-Breaking 10th Super Bowl in South Florida, and to fulfill all bid obligations to the National Football League.


The South Florida Host Committee, together with the South Florida region, will work as one community utilizing national media coverage and increased tourism to: more effectively market our destination, increase the regional economy, encourage community involvement and support local business development.


Our community effort will create a better quality of life for all residents and position South Florida as the premier site to host future Super Bowls.
