Kids Fishing Classic 

On Saturday, January 30, The South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee along with NFL Environmental and the NFL YETs will spend a fun-filled day on the water. That's where we'll be teaching more than 150 kids from the NFL YETs in Miami and Fort Lauderdale about the ocean, boating safety, fishing, water conservation and the environment. Make sure you're part of this fantastic event this Saturday!

What:    The NFL, in partnership with the Miami and Fort Lauderdale YETs (Youth Education Towns), will take more than 150 local children fishing and teach them about South Florida's unique environment, boating safety, ocean appreciation and conservation and having fun.

When:   Saturday, January 30     7:30AM-4:00PM        
             7:30AM - 8:30 AM         Staff / Volunteers Arrive at Marina
       8:30AM - 9:00AM          Buses pick up kids at YET centers
       9:30AM - 12:00PM        YET kids arrive, boating safety review, fishing
       12:00PM - 1:00PM        Lunch and Speeches**
       1:00PM - 4:00PM          Station Rotations

Where:   Haulover Isle Marina, Haulover Beach


*Media will be allowed on the boat. Fishing trips are about 2 hours*
**Speeches will be done by Jack Groh NFL Environmental, Rodney Barreto, Mike Zimmer, Miami-Dade Officials and NFL Representatives

The mission of the South Florida Super Bowl Host Committee is to prepare the South Florida region to host Super Bowl XLIV, the Record-Breaking 10th Super Bowl in South Florida, and to fulfill all bid obligations to the National Football League.
