Football season is here, well almost. Pre season is already half way through and the excitement of the NFL season is quickly building. On Saturday, August 22nd, the Miami Dolphins played the Carolina Panthers at Land Shark Stadium for their second pre season game. During the broadcast Rodney Barreto joined Nat Moore and Bob Griese in their coverage of the game. The Host Committee got the word out about the upcoming Super Bowl and Pro Bowl - another step towards letting everyone know that South Florida is bringing two prime time games to town.

Saturday, August 22nd, was the last home pre season game for the Miami Dolphins and the last day for the Host Committee to distribute pre season media guides. After handing out our entire stash of guides, it's safe to say that they were a success.
Now our attention turns to September 21st, when the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts face off in a Monday Night Football special at Land Shark Stadium. It will be the home opener for the Dolphins and it will be our first regular season opportunity to make an impression on local, national and international media.
Our official guide is underway and will be ready for the season's start. It will encompass everything in South Florida from sports history to tourist attractions and cultural facts. We want to continue to make South Florida a prime location for the NFL Super Bowl. There is a reason why it's the record-breaking 10th time it comes down here - we want to ensure we keep that trend going.

The shoot was a great success, and although it was an all-day event there were moments of joy, passion and excitement all throughout the process. Here's what went on. Bikini girls running through the set, dozens of fans getting made up to represent every NFL team, and overall, a huge amount of excitement that football season is almost here. Every actor whooped it up like a crazed fan rooting on their favorite team. Then, each person tagged their spot with the resonating statement "Let there be Football!" - bringing home the fact that Super Bowl XLIV and Pro Bowl 2010 are coming to South Florida in just a few months.
